Who runs it, which data it uses and under which licences.

What it is

Apicultura Lab brings together the public figures on Chilean beekeeping: numbers of hives and beekeepers, foreign trade in honey and bee products, prices, animal health and regulation. The figures come from national and international public agencies, and each one shows where it comes from.

Who runs it

aGo Lab builds and runs the observatory as a contribution to a group of beekeeping companies. aGo Lab is the controller of the data the system processes and the owner of its publications.

Licences

Each figure is published under the licence its source allows, and that licence appears on the indicator’s sheet and under each chart. Pieces that use material from the website of the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) are published under the CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 Chile licence, for non-commercial use. The laboratory’s methodological texts are published under CC BY 4.0, and its code under AGPL-3.0 or later.

Data for reuse

Everything on this site comes from a public, read-only API that serves the indicators, their sheets, their values and the lineage of each value. The API specification is linked at the foot of every page.
