Method

The service does not publish this price: this laboratory calculates it by dividing the `fobvalue` key, which carries United States dollars, by the `netWgt` key, which carries kilograms, in the aggregate row of the period's response. Both keys are printed in the response and the ratio is not, so the published figure is a construction of the laboratory and the source is cited as the origin of both columns. Factor applied: 1. The units of the numerator and the denominator give the series unit without conversion. The result is rounded to 6 decimal places, which is the precision at which the laboratory stores a figure. Evidence for both columns: Observation of 2026-09-10 of Argentine exports under heading 0409 in 2024, on the response captured with sha256 `5e156d99cd485ba3b2a0ed0d120b1d592bbc4e94fefbbe63d816b873ad20b3cb`: the aggregate row prints `fobvalue` 170816007.85 and `netWgt` 78375279.5, and carries no key with the unit price. The units are those the source record declares for those keys.

Confidentiality

No threshold barrier. The series belongs to the universe of series with no identifiable population: its figure is an aggregate market price and is not calculated over any person or firm this laboratory could count, so there is no sparse cell to protect and no unit to count. The reason is set out in the universe declaration and in ADR 0035.

Limitations

This is an implicit price and not an observed one: no agency publishes the price of each shipment, and this figure is the ratio between the year's aggregate value and weight, so its variation may come from a change in the composition of sales rather than in price. The cell's territory is Argentina because the price describes that market, and that country's territorial unit is registered with no start date, because no document captured by this laboratory states when its code came into force. The series publishes a single period today, the one of the only observed query. The source publishes no named licence and its terms of use allow transformed data to be redistributed, so the calculated figure is published and not the captured file.

Revision policy

The whole series is recalculated when the agency publishes a new edition, and the previous version is kept as an erratum with its reason.
