Method

Net weight returned by the observed query for the year's aggregate, converted from kilograms to tonnes. Among the rows of the response the total aggregate is taken, which is the one that does not distinguish mode of transport, customs procedure or second partner, and that choice is declared in the pipeline's versioned input with its provenance. Each cell's status is transcribed from the flags the response itself carries and is not declared per series: the 2024 aggregate row is flagged as estimated by the service, so it is published as estimated.

Confidentiality

No threshold barrier: the series describes the aggregate another country reports about its own importers, and no identifiable unit of the Chilean sector.

Limitations

The cell's territory is Chile because the figure describes Chilean honey, not the partner country: this laboratory's territorial register is the Chilean one and has no units for other countries. Only one partner is published today, the one in the single observed query, so the series opens no partner dimension yet. The source publishes no named licence and its terms of use allow transformed data to be redistributed, so the converted figure is published and not the captured file.

Revision policy

The whole series is recalculated when the agency publishes a new edition, and the previous version is kept as an erratum with its reason.
